Leadership colloquium

Introduction

Leadership is an important function of management which helps to maximize efficiency and to achieve organizational goals and Leadership is a function which is important at all levels of management.

In the top level, it is important for getting co-operation in formulation of plans and policies. In the middle and lower level, it is required for interpretation and execution of plans and programmers framed by the top management. Leadership can be exercised through guidance and counseling of the subordinates at the time of execution of plans.

Leadership is the ability or status one has influencing, directing and guiding or controlling at least one more person than oneself. There are so many leaders who, in the world, have been successful in many different ways.

To become a good leader in the future, we should study how they do to become a good leader and take their ways and practice those ways which were practiced by leaders. We should respect and admire expressing their successes as much as we can.

Here I would like to express some of leaders in Myanmar.
